A giant plant that stinks like rotten meat? Let’s face it, (some) kids can’t get enough of gross stuff. And this one’s fascinating: Commonly called a corpse flower, the Titan Arum only blooms about once a decade — and the Botanic Garden has one. For for the past week, it’s been growing as fast as the giant “Little Shop of Horrors” plant. Spike is now nearly six feet tall; the Garden’s best educated guess predicts a Tuesday bloom.
